You'll need to get the AA/RAC/Locksmith to open the door by sliding an appropriate tool between the window and weather seal and then open the boot with the remote release, if you have one in the car.

Else, if you haven't, you'll need to ruin your boot lock-cylinder, by drilling or picking and replace it later.

However, with proper ID and your vehicle VIN number, a dealer can cut you another set of keys.

Hi

If you pop down to the dealers with your log book and some sort of identification. They should be able to get you a key to chassis number for the next day. Long as the car hasn't had a lock change.

Or you could put the quarter glass through. (£10 from the stealership plus vat) & open the central locking unless you have double locked it. Then its back to drilling out locks.

Good luck

Boot is double locked, however I managed to remove the rear lights on the passenger side and reach in and retrieve the keys. I tried all ways to get into the car as I could of got into the boot by removing the firstaid kit, but just could not get the locks to pop.
Thanks for advice all the same.

Andy: only £10 from the dealership for the quarterlight glass? That's worth bearing in mind should I ever lock myself out.

There's got to be a way of breaking the glass without the pieces going everywhere too. Shatter it with a nail and then hoover pieces out of it, so that none falls into the car?

Hmm... Interesting.

Your Mercedes

I suppose if you got some really sticky selotape and put it on the glass before you hit it it would go in in an almost laminated way .
