Today I decided to take the wheels of to polish them (hows that for cleaning) I take them off to get rid of the old brake dust and polish them on the inside to stop the brake dust spoiling the alloy, anyway on refitting the first one I had done all the normal bolts up and went to do the locking one and the middle piece has now come out anybody know how much one of these might cost cos I'm running out of arms and legs etc:)

Take the head that has come off to any MB outlet, and they will see what it is, and they will get one for you

From memory they are roughly around £30-£50 a set. I've not heard of individual ones being available but I guess it is possible. They are made my McGuard and are used on lots of makes these days - I've seen them on Renaults amongst others. It may be worth trying Halfords (they do sell them) and other after market folk if the dealer is expensive but the dealer is the first port of call.
