look at the rust on 01'' c320

i can not understand how their is rust on this cars arches

its a 01'' merc i have a 94 and no rust

i know they changed to water based paints but are we going back words in this world get rid of concorde a supersonic plane and now rusty cars after only a few years .whats the world comming tooooooooooo

i know will they ever got to that memory plastic renault use on their front wings they work and last and bounce back if pressed on hard by other car people ect ...

Yes before and just after the war, the handles were made of monkey metal, and scrap alloy product. The molecules were always on the move, and this pushed the chrome plating off, and they could not be re plated so a huge advance in car technology

The Nissan X Trail has plastic front wings too, mine still looked liked new after 5 years use. I could not see any downside to them.
