Looking to buy a A-CLASS need help !!!

Hello everyone, please go easy on me as i'm new to all this. First off I'm looking at getting my other half a A-Class and was wandering if I could use your knowledge to hunt one down. I'm having loads of problems finding a decent one for what we have to spend, We have about 6.5k so looking at the early models and want the 140. I live in Nottingham and using the Autotrader web site most I keep finding are mile away, if there was a dealer with a few to look at then it would be worth my while going to have a look but to look at just 1 car 100 miles away is not ideal. This is where you guys can help :lol: . If you know of any dealers or cars for sale then please reply or drop me a email and save me from this nightmare :evil:

Try Availablecar.com they often have A's in.
Castle Donnington, just down the road from the race circuit, not far from East Mid. Airport.

A word of warning though......we have just replaced our 1999 A class as it was at the end of its warranty. The build quality on these early A's is lousy!

We had numerous electrical problems, with the alarm, interior lights, loose trim. In addition to this the actuators on the semi-auto box packed up.....this would have been a big bill had it not have been for the warranty.

Take care and try and go for the facelifted model if you can stretch the money, as our replacement 190 is much better built.
