Good Afternoon
New member and not got a car yet. I have currently spec a A200 amg in premium and auto gearbox in polar white.
My question is i have been thinking about changing it to manual, and then that might bring a premium plus into my budget, i think auto is £1500.
Can anybody give any advise on Auto gearbox against a manual, dealer pushes an auto against a manual. Many thanks

Hello and welcome to the Forum.

I believe the preference will overwhelmingly be for an Auto gearbox on the forum, but wait for it...:)

Hello and Welcome,

A "Manual" Mercedes???? It's a concept, not one that is generally recommended but it is a concept

Personally with the traffic we "enjoy" in our wonderful country these days I struggle to comprehend why anyone would want to sit for hours on end pressing a clutch in and out o_O

If the dealer is pushing and wants the sale, talk turkey about the auto in the price. Or try another dealer, carwow etc. Approaching month end at slack sales time might be worth hanging on a week or so.

They also have the new reg coming out in September so there will be quite a bit of haggling available if you aren’t bothered about a older reg number.

Hi Neil, welcome to the forum :) A what ? a Manual ? an MB ? I don't think so  As Blobcat has said I cannot imagine why anybody would want to sit there pumping a clutch in to-days traffic conditions, good lord no ! :(

Latest offers now from dealer
Premium plus. Auto box. Advanced navigation. Smartphone integration. And guardX interior and exterior paint protection.
This all started as originally was going for the executive package and I was going to drop the auto to get the premium extras. This is on a 2019 to be ready in August, or do I wait for a 2069 and won’t get the same offers

I’d take the 19 plate and stick a private reg on it. When it comes down to it the toys will make it more saleable than 2 month newer.

The latest offering and the '69 plate ones are probably already built, so same physical age, just registered at a different time :geek::D

Y9NHN is only £250 ;) MB19NHB is £350
