Lorries

On the way home from Durham visiting family, I took a photo with my new phone of an obstruction, which is lorries playing some sort of overtaking game.....


This got rather annoying...

Perfectly legal as long as the lorry in the otside lane is a 7.5 tonner, which can therefore do 70 mph legally( like a car!) and isn't limited to 56mph like the other 2. What is illegal is the chap in the pick up with the trailer out in the third lane!!

Only thing i see wrong in the picture is using a mobile phone while driving..

sorry if you where the passenger,,if it was a motorway you where driving on the person with the trailer is wrong...

Sankey, I'm perfectly legal, unless my car was LHD, which is isn't, I'm actually a passenger !

Yes, everything does go on a lorry. I am thankful for all the yummy things that lorries bring me! lol

I have nothing against them, all I've done is post a pic I took of them taking up all the lanes!

I think your photo speaks volumes Hannah , this isnt an isolated incident in my experience. They get into this sort of position and when one accelerates the others do, must be lots of fun.

Yeh, I'd imagine they were Barry! It's the fact you can't pass any because they're all in the lanes, providing how long they take to overtake each other it can be annoying... lol.

As for polishing my car Malcolm, it will take hours, and she deserves a clean soon. Living out in the country lanes, it's hard to keep clean with tractors going past every few minutes... ! I have to be feeling in a rather productive mood!
