Right there were no fault codes found and the car is back in limp mode :mad:
What system did the garage use?
It cannot be in and out of limp mode, without codes....

almost not worth discussing with the bloke you bought it from, they will be a waste of space and as alexander says it won't do this without codes, what u probably got was someone with inadequate diagnostic kit

check fuse 44 under the bonnet - I'm guessing its the std failure where a metal film resistor 0.6w 4.7k ohm on swirl flap motor plug, Pins 2 and 3 (centre two of 4 pins) connecting red/green wire and the grey wire will make it better than new for 9 pence http://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/index.php?threads/2006-w211-e280-cdi.164173/

The all singing and all dancing non STAR units will not give everything that the MB STAR system will.
You're sat between two good garages (I use MBS as very local to me)

It's your best option
Anything else will be frustrating, and potentially money down the drain unless you know what is wrong
You never know, it might not be expensive........

Oh and you'll need that expertise diagnosis if you go back to the supplying garage

If so you will still have to get to local indie

No I bought from a independent garage however it’s still under its warranty so I’ll get in touch ASAP. Thanks.

Did you get in touch with the seller? It's their problem to sort out, not yours.
At worst you could invalidate your warranty if you start trying to sort the problem yourself.

Yes I’ve phoned the garage that I bought the car from and I’ve got 3 months warranty with it. They have told me to take it to a garage of my choice as long as it’s VAT registered, and liase with them on the problem etc then I guess they or the warranty company will fit the bill.
I’ve now got 3 faults that have been found on and I will post the photos up if I can but I have no idea what they are. Reversible emergency tensioning retractor front left and front right aborted due to low voltage, and media interface an internal control unit reset is being performed......???

I would suspect a few more than that. As mentioned take itbto MBS. They have the right kit, the know how and are thoroughly decent blokes with a proper fix it first time attitude.

You won't find any decent MB indy open on a Sunday.
Mon - Fri and maybe Sat mornings by appointment.
You need MBS to take a look with Star but don't turn up without an appointment being made first.
The codes you posted mean nothing, nor do the faults to be honest.
