Loss of power, low pickup

Hi all,

Car C180 (2002)

This morning noticed that there was a problem with engine pickup.

In traffic at 30 mph then go to accelerate and nothing is there for a few seconds car just trundels along then drops a gear and picks up.

Where is the coil pack to try cleaning it..

Has anyone any pictures of the engine bay to point out items to check

If the car has been more than 50k miles it could be the MAF filter that needs a clean.

We had the same car here last week and it solved that one.

I have disconnected the MAF and it seemed worse, the engine really bogged down.
Any ideas before I pull it all to bit.
There is some oil deposit around the next lunp on from the MAF
