Loss of power on windows, washer..........

On a W140 body After a heavy rain lost power in my washer, flasher, windows, stereo, all the fuses related to them are ok but no power gets to them. help please!

Find the relevant relay and check for dampness.

This could well be the ignition switch as the items you mention are all key 1 minimum

Have you checked ALL fuses?? Bet you haven't :lol: There are some in the boot but also 4 on the "Ground Module" which supplies other modules. The Ground module is under bonnet, NS, under an alloy cover held on with 3 or 4mm allen key bolts.

Thank you for all the responses, but problem was no power coming to the fuses! I had to by pass one of the fuse terminal to the other now problem is nothing works unless the key is on second position! type 49 where is this grond module exactly located and how do I go without by passing it? Thanks

Make sure your fuse box isnt wet, W140 tend to let water into the fuse box, also make sure relays and control box at the back of the fuse box are dry.

Check the blades on the large fuses they tend to get dirty and need rubbing with a green scouring pad till shiney then replace, also do the same to fuses on right side in boot.
