For the last few weeks i have hunted everywhre for muy owners wallet for my 2010 Mercedes 350ML.

I cannot find them and they are always in the car and occasionally in the house. The house and my office along with the carhas been ripped apart with no joy.

Any ideas wher to get a pack complete ? I have checked fleabay only goit the USA version.

In another twist I cannot find my V5 either . No one could get access to it but it has diassapeared.
i will have to get it replaced.

Have you taken them all to Europe on holiday in another bag that's now not in the car ?

Ah yes - blaming the other half is always the best solution. Anything missing in our house is always down to Ms peterws.

Ooooh! that's a dangerous game to play. I hope you find the pack and more importantly your V5!

£25 for a new V5 so thats is not really a problem The car is totally origonal and full service histoty etc and I just like to keeep everything right. i Think it helps if people think you have taken care of the paerwork etc when you sell it. I have all service and repair receipts.

Throwing away unwanted rubbish usually reveals the wanted stuff that lies beneath. I suggest taking a week of not looking for any of it, it will almost certainly turn up. That usually works in my house.

the V5 has turned up my wife put it in the safe for safe keeping. GH3382

She sounds like a sensible woman, I'd hang on to that one. I suspect that sometime in the next few days your owners wallet will turn up too.

Ransacking the house for lost stuff sometimes gets a bit feverish so that we can't see the wood for the trees. In my experience, important stuff gets misplaced more often than it gets lost.

Deep filed bank statements/utility bills before the days of paperless billing.

Still no handbook pack and I bought a second hand one from the internet and the owners manual is not the same.

I might resell it and go hunting for the right one

Good luck GH. I still think you'll come across it when you're not looking. That's how it works in my life.

A few days after agreeing to buy our SL the seller called to say he had lost the service book and invoices. He offered to halt the sale but had got a print out from MB for the services. He was adamant the things would turn up when he cleared his flat. We went ahead with the sale anyway and forgot about the whole thing. True to his word a year later he got in touch to say he'd found everything when he moved. The book etc had slipped down behind a cupboard. We just knew he was a genuine guy.

In the cubbyhole of the rear centre armrest?

Just saying because when I bought the S500 the chap said it was in the car but when I looked I couldn't find it anywhere!
Eventually the missus found it when she tried out the rear seats and opened the armrest and said, "what's this"? This was after I had had the car for over a week!
It was the one place I didn't think to look.... I was soooooooooooooo chuffed she found it as it had all the service records and manuals on the car and comand... The Owner's Manual is even a Hardback, as well as the Original Sales Booklet in hardback aswell!

Good luck!
