Hi all,

I seem to have lost power to the drivers door, first I thought is was the window switch but when I tried to lock the doors I noticed that the drivers door wouldn't lock also.

This leads me to think I have total power loss in the door, any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Have checked all the fuses, thinking there is a plug/socket of some sort in the door or inside the body that supplies the power etc to the door. Seems strange to have lost everthing in the one door everthing else works ie: central locking for the other doors and the windows work from their respective doors. The boot also opens from the remote.

I wonder if a wire has broken in the door hinge area, this does happen

Thanks, thought of that but would there be a common power source to all the things that are not working? Having looked at the fuse layout diagram there seems to be more than one fuse for these seperate systems.

Thanks Malcom,
Took the door lining off and tested the voltage, got 12v but when plugged into the module the voltage drops to 1.8v. Thinking the module unless there are any other suggestions on the problem.

This could be an earth grounding wire just as well as any other the problem now is getting hold of the wiring pin outs, I should be able to look this up later in the day
