what w124 are these parts from?

They're from my 1995 E280 estate; I have just re-trimmed it with Walnut and illuminated sunvisors so I'm selling the original bits.

The Glovebox door is not from my car; I bought it just for the walnut trim that was attached to it. I don't have any use for the door itself.

Thanks.

The center console trim has now been sold, all other bits are still available.

Hi Merc,

Not about your spares I'm afraid, but seeking your advice please.

I've taken off the illuminated sun-visors from my donor car, and the wired bits from behind the trim, and I want to put them in the car I'm restoring.

To remove those bits, I first had to remove the donor's rear-view mirror. Nick Froome on another thread advised me how it was fitted, and said it should just come out with a hard pull. I pulled hard on the donor car's mirror, in the direction of the rear of the car, but instead of the mirror popping out of its sprung bearings, its base pulled out of the roof!

I'm therefore reluctant to try the same trick on the receiving car, in case I do the same thing. Can you please tell me how you got your rear-view mirror off? Which direction did you pull, and are there any other tips you could impart, either about detaching the mirror and/or about installing the illuminated visors?

Many thanks

Ray

Hi Ray, the rear view mirrors do just pull off, towards the rear of the car, I have never have one do what you said, must have just been a 1-off.

Not sure about the RVM; I have yet to obtain the wiring loom for the illuminated visors, the visors are fitted but not wired in yet.

Hi;

I'd say £15 would be about right. It's in very good condition though I don't have a key to give you, sorry. It's unlocked though.

Thanks.

W124 Tailgate Handle

Any chance you would have a s/h tailgate "handle" (sometimes refered to as the "rear number plate lights cover" I am told) Part No 1247400093 in Almondine, for my 1991 200 TE. Many thanks. Fawkner
