loud cdi wastegate chatter???

All of a sudden tonight my 2000 S320L cdi has started to make a loud wastegate chatter noise everytime I lift off the accelerator, its never done this before, but it sounds like a rally car now and not sure whats caused it to do it...

Any ideas?

last time i see that, i new turbo was needed!!!

Mercedes Bens have replaced pipes to the intercooler, a blow on the exhaust at the turbo and two leaky injectors. The noise is still there...

Any ideas anybody...

I would say it was a knacked turbo if it makes a noise when you lift off . Ive had it make a loud dragster noise before when you put ya foot down ,but this was down to me because i had knocked one of the rubber intercooler pipes out by accident when i changed the air filter.
