Hi

I have a wierd problem. To begin with I cannot establish link to OBD port. I measured continuity on pin 4,5 to ground = all OK. I have good voltage on pin 16. Between Can high and can low (6, 14 there is 70 ohm).

Here's what strange:
* pin 6 to 5 = 0,67 V
* pin 14 to 5 = 0.4 V
(both with engine on/shut off)

I have read somewhere When data bits are being transmitted, the CAN high line goes to 3.75V and the CAN low drops to 1.25V, thereby generating a 2.5V differential between the lines.

Anyone have an idea whats wrong with my car?

/Lars

From my files:
CAN-H has a voltage of approx. 0.025 volts when dormant
• Rises to base voltage of 0.65 volts when communicating

CAN-L has a voltage of 11.0 volts dormant
• Base voltage drops to 4.65 volts when active
