Low power when hot.

Hey folks, new here. I have a Sprinter 2005 2.2 311 CDI, it starts and drive fine until its hot then it doesnt boost amd the revs wont go past 3000. Theres also a smell of soot in the cabin at times. Wondering if anyone can shed any light on the problem, thanks im advance.

You need to get fault codes read. Anything else is pure guesswork.
