You would really need to get it plugged in a merc diagnostic tool. Reason being - I broke down when aa came to and checked I had the same fault code. Once taken it to a garage and plugged in, turns out my timing snapped.heyy! I have an AA code reader in my car (A class A180) and the low preassure fuel system sensor has come up, code P2540, there are no lights on the dash which has got me. does anyone know what this could be or how to fix the issue?? So it could be anything- hopefully yours isn't timing as you didn't mention your car not turning over.
Where are you based?thank you! i haven't a problem with it turning over it runs fine but has lost a bit of power since the code was picked up and the fuel has gone down more
