hi

my car is a 2003/53 late c180k classic/se.

I bought the car without driving, seeing it or ever being in one via the phone.

I don't like the side profile of the car as the back is too high.

A few months after buying the car as the fun wore off, I noted the Avantgarde and i theink the elegance models had a different/better suspension.

How can I inprove the looks/ride, relatively cheaply?

I'm more interested in lowering the rear without losing ride quailty.

Thanks

I think it is the Avantgarde that has the different suspension set up to the other 2.
I expect you could get a lowering spring set, you can for a lot of cars these days.
Not sure it will alter the look that much though.

MB do a sports suspension pack in addition to the standard Avantgarde suspension. Mine has it fitten and is noticably lower at the back that other Avantgarde's I;ve parked next to. The rear tyres have a gap of about 1/2 inch to the wheel arches. I'm assume that MB would sell the suspension parts separateyl.
