lowness of old eclass

I have noticed recently that the old e-class(the one before the present one)
is very low! on the advanguarde model, seems to have lower profile tyres too
Is this true or is it me? because i think it looks really nice but the current e-class seems to be much higher

Not really compared the two with regards to how low they are. My neighbour has the w210 and i think he knows what car he would rather have. He compliments my car even though the w210 is a nice car too.

The avantgarde model is lower in both models but looks wise the w211 wins hands down.

In looks the W211 seems lower, because of it's sleek lines. It seems to have got it proportions spot on.
