The passenger side electric window makes a scrapping noise when going up and down, but there are no scratch marks on the glass. Is it advisable to spray some lubrication and if so, is silicone spray or PTFE spray the best option. And also, is it just a case of spraying on both sides where the glass comes out of the door?

Also, my steering wheel column squeeks when using the adjuster - this is probably the leather rubbing against the dash? While I am lubricating things, I was thinking to do the same for the folding wing mirrors and maybe the driver and passenger seats mechanisms (and again does it matter which type of spray I use? Could you please advise on the best places to lubricate and how to gain access to these parts.

Thank you all.

This can be a hard question, often good to run a thin bladed knife along the top seal. PTFE is very good it is thin and will not cause the felt / rubber to swell
