Luggage lights

No lights working inside boot, bulbs seem fine.
Where is the switch located and what fuse is it.
Any ideas where to start please

If it’s the lock mechanism would there be anyway to repair or would I have to buy a new one

Most likely cause is a broken wire in the loom as it follows the hinge. Check for 12v at the bulb holders first. I think from memory the lock switch provides an earth to the lights.

Found a few damaged and broken wires, poor workmanship some wires rubbing against sharp metal.
