M 275 engine table

this is my diy attempt at a M275 engine table - same as in my R230 SL600, it actually came out of an SL600 too!
What you think?

I'm not a fan of pistons holding the glass. They just look a bit, well wrong.

Here's my Rover V8 based one.

I'm not a fan of pistons holding the glass. They just look a bit, well wrong.

Well ok to disagree, I like them especially as they are the original pistons with the MB logo on them!
I bought this as a part finished item with the original head bolts welded to the con rods!
looked rubbish, I admit it could look better than it does now but not too bad! and will not get rid of it unlesss it goes with my SL600 if I ever sell it!

If you like them then that's great. I just think they make it look top heavy.
The welded bolts did look terrible.

I did mine from scratch using an old V8 in the shed. Surprisingly easy to do. A V12 is even easier due to the 60 degree V as opposed to the 90 degree V of a V8.

also, imo (based admittedly!) M275 is a WAY better looking block! sorry and awaiting abuse!
