Hi

Just quick question

Do I need dielectric or/and anti-size?

We always use a bit of anti sieze on the threads. It works wonders!
And don't forget to check those plug gaps before fitting!!!!

Now that I have said that these new plugs are good for 60,000 miles some folks advocate taking them out at least once during that time simply to stop the chances of them seizing in the head!

I had no trouble in mine at 50k miles and never been out before, again a hard question

Guys

I tried to get dielectric grease but hard to get in UK however there is lots of silicone grease/sprays which basically is "dielectric" but what one to get? Carplan,servisol,autoglynn or can u please recommend so I can buy and finnaly do the job

Hi

Finnaly winter is end so i managed to replace plugs. Just want to share experience.

Job took me 2 1/2 hours. It wasn't too bad. The hardest bit was last 5th and 6th cylinder due to lack of room but getting different bits and extensions all is done.

Malcolm your "wire puller tool" is amazing. I got it made as you said and it worked wonders. No hassle no pain,perfect tool.

Old plugs did 8years and 30k miles but looked stone dry.

Car runs fine, better response on low revs range and no more rough vibrations!
