    I should point out that the old speed cameras on the M25 are still working though! A bloke I work with got done by one in the southern section a couple of months ago.

    I'm amazed they need speed cameras. Every time I've been on the M25 it's difficult to do more than 40mph. Oh for the days when we used to have races around the M25 circuit!

    Jim Fitzpatrick, Labour's road safety spokesman, described the revelation as 'unbelievable'.
    'The M25 is already used as a racetrack by number of reckless drivers. If there is one place where we need working cameras it is on that stretch of motorway,' he told the newspaper.


    Nice to see Labour still have their finger on the pulse....he must be talking about 0200-0600 I guess.
