M320 Cdi vs. M420Cdi

Looking at a new M420 CDi for the missus, have driven the 320 but can't get a TD in a 420 as there aren't any around.. Anyone here driven them back to back and can tell me roughly the difference in "shove" please?

I have driven both the ML420 Cdi as well as the ML320 Cdi.

Both are great drives. The 420 obviously have alot (and I mean alot) of oomph!

Very powerful but seriously overprices. Even my MB dealer told me to avoid one and to get the ML320 with the full warranty covered Brabus D6 chip instead. I would save a nice bundle as well and have an almost as quick car.

This chip, by the way, is installed by MB UK and will not affect your warranty, only your insurance premium.

I have now done this chip on my C320 Cdi on Friday. WOW!

You've obviously seen my other thread - only thing I would say is that my local MB dealers are very keen to talk deals on the 420, not quite so keen on the 320. I expect to be able to get a 3-6 month old ex-demo 420 for the same price as a new 320...
