Problem: low Autumn sunshine dazzling our grandchildren who regularly travel in the back of our A Class.

Sensible solution: Stick-on sunblinds for rear side windows from Tesco or somewhere similar. Cost: maybe a tenner.

Preferred (Actual) solution: fitted MB roller sunblinds tailor made for the A Class.Cost (ahem) £75 per window.

Is there something about MB ownership which induces this kind of madness.:)

Haven't actually got them yet - but yes of course they will. However...the grandchildren would probably have preferred the Tesco version with Homer Simpson logo.:smile:

I'm sure they do - try Amazon. MB variety in sombre black - or anthracite as I think they prefer to call it.

Anyone else have tales of over-indulgent MB add-ons?

OK - don't rub it in - I'm looking for support here!:smile:

Haven't tried blinds, but I bought an MB dog guard for a W 202 once.

It was extremely robust and functional, and will no doubt be discovered virtually unmarked by archaeologists at some future date.

MB original equipment may not be the cheapest - well, we know it isn't - but it is over engineered and probably indestructible. Perhaps an important point to remember as the children grow up and go through their exploratory phase?

That's more like it. What a practical long-term investment I am making!:smile::smile:
