There's a locked thread describing exactly something that has just happened to me; head off, skimmed + all gaskets done + now it taps badly. So badly I couldn't complete a carrot test because I didn't like the noise the poor old goat was making.
Before I go totally spare with the thing, can anyone comment on these thorts:
Are the hydraulic elements / lifter bits that are replaceable straghtforward to replace?
How much good will an oil change do?
