malfunction Or no malfunction

When using my sl 350 after being left for 3 or 4 days the reading on the malfunction memory reads temporary unavailable,after driving for approx 2 miles it reads 1 malfunction then changes to no malfunction straight away then all is well until next time.used regularly this does not happen.
any sugestions welcome.thanks.....Steve.

I would just give the rear battery a good charge once a month

Thanks, will do that,dont use car enough i`m affraid.would you recommend taking battery out to charge or leave in car connected.

Leave it in the car,, I did this with my SL that I had for 6 years that was not used that much,, a 4 amp charger will take care of it,, do not forget it can take 20 hours to fully charge a AGM battery, the front one will not give any problem.
