I have seen advertised a 320 convertible full merc history reasonable miles, doctor owned etc.etc.
Problem is colour (white) and more importantly its manual.
I think I know what your answer will be... should I go and view???
The price does seem ok.
Over to you boys!

The white is not so bad if its a nice leather interior (beige makes it very 'LA').

But manual? Bad choice... its not known to be a fun gearbox...

White and manual? You'll never shift it (excuse lame pun) for anything other than loose change when you sell it on. And yes the mnaual box is poor - long and slow throw.

Keep your money and wait for something MUCH better. This combination is awful and I recommend that you wait, given how many better examples there are out there.

The manual box is sacrillege....avoid like the plague!!!!

White - oh dear!

You can put hours of effort into washing, waxing, ultra gloss etc. and you won't see much for your efforts.

Manual - is there anyone out there that really wants one?

An 'E' is for comfort and ease of driving which you don't get from a manual box, especially around town. But then again I might be wrong - what do most E55's have?

Can the box really be so bad- only driven autos in the past.
Sadly with my budget this may be my only option.
How much is this car worth in a private sale?

The manual is cluncky and has a long 'throw', not the perfect match for a luxurious convertible, more suited to a Berlin taxi...

In my opinion, if this is a second car you may as well have something you really enjoy owning.
