Manual gearbox

Hi all looking at changing my 190e from auto to manual. Any advice appreciated

I once investigated converting a Jag from manual to auto -- it was a big job.
Everything from pedal box, gear lever, propshaft, possibly body modifications, etc., and source a good gearbox.
Going the other way, you would also have to get and fit master & slave cylinders. In an older car there may not be a lot or electrical changes but there could easily be some work required there too.
Maybe it is easier on a 190 but I doubt it is a job for the fainthearted.
Is an auto not worth more money compared to the manual?
Much easier to sell and buy the one you want.

Given he's dropping in something with 500 hp it won't be a standard gearbox anyway, and a box to handle that power will be too big to fit the standard tunnel.

500 hp in a 190e --- the OP definitely doesn't suffer from a faint heart!!!
