Well after a trip to the garage to find out what the problem is with my massage seats to find out it's a pump I need but at a massive cost from Mercedes I thought maybe somebody here could help out the part number is 0009002406 I'm not sure what it looks like so I don't know if I could use same pump but with different part number as I'm aware the part number doesn't stay the same on younger or older models .
My car is a s500l 2007 and I understand it's the rear pump behind rear seats hopefully somebody could help with a photo or even the spare pump .

Ok it's all the same pump so I suspect the diagnosis may be flawed. Was it an MB specialist?

The issue with ours when it failed was the pipe on the passenger side that feeds the seat had broken. We sleeved it wirhflexible PVC pipe and it's been fine since.
Look under both seats for a broken pipe. The bad news is it needs resetting on STAR if you find and fix it.

We only heard a leak in ours when it failed and then only because we were parked. Clearing codes didn't make a sound afterwards, just brought the code back.
The pump you need is called the PSE pump.

There may be repair kits on eBay if it's a mechanical pump issue. It would be good to know what the codes were.

Iv just recived this from my mb mechanic .. Hi Martin the pump you need is not the pse pump its dynamic seat pump not much cars have this option so getting a used one would be hard I think it's the pump motor brushes that's the problem you might find a repairer online if so we could remove it for you(the pump is in the boot area behind left rear seat, the fridge and panneling behind it have to be removed)

Ah ok so yours is different then.
If it's just brushes you can often get them from online suppliers if you know the size you need.
