maverick flashing hazzard lights

Hi, hope someone can help me....

I've noticed that the red and green lights on my rear-view mirror keep flashing and now, the last few times I have started my car (1996 E280) the hazzards lights (i.e. the indicators) come on automatically and they don't go off until a few minutes has passed, then after about a minute the come on again.

After about 10 minutes the hazzards stop flashing and then I can drive safely.

Any siggestions would be most welcome,

Hi there,this would appear to be an alarm problem taking a while to dis engage, see what other people think, or an owner of one.

Do the green/red lights flash one after the other, or do they flash at exactly the same time?? (when unlocking the car).

Replace your fob batteries and disconnect car battery for 5 minutes try it again
do a search on forum for Scorpion Alarm as this is what is fitted to your car it was fitted by Mercedes from new.
