MB dealer service.

I am going to drop my CLK in for its first B service tomorrow, the car is running beautifully. Apart from a few snags in the past with the computers i.e seats and mirrors going a bit wonky, thats it. I am mildly concerned about whether or not my reputable MB dealer is going to shock me with anything that I will be not expecting. I took it in for a new V belt the other day and they said the reason the old one had failed was due to a major oil leak! I was aware of some leakage from the oil pump, but the car seams to have lost zero oil ever since I bought it! I am fairly new to Mercs, is she likely to come out unscathed after 40000 miles, its a V8.

I know this forum is populated by people in the 'know' and Merc engineers. Should I be preparing myself for extras on top of the service? The car is driven with love and care, I treat her with respect!

It is impossible to tell without knowing the history and any faults.
Things like coolant and brake fluid are changed every 2 years or so, plugs every 4 etc so it really depends as much on age and what has been done previously as it does on mileage.
