Hi all,
My colleague bought the above mentioned car locked and parked it. After a month he went to move it but the key fob wouldn’t work and the wee metal key in the end was missing. He’s now locked out and asked me if I knew how to get in. I said no but I know hundreds of people who might! He has only one key. Smash the window answers may have to be considered?
Hope everyone is doing ok.
Paul

Who’d be daft enough to buy a Mercedes with only 1 electronic key and no emergency key… a lot of members on the forum it appears…;)

If you can get underneath it with a battery boost pack, find a suitable positive terminal to connect to (and a chassis point for -ve) then use the key fob to open the car.

Thank you. Will try.

I have used inflatable door bags to wedged the door open and pull the inner handle. Its a faff but can be done.

Locking the keys in the boot, that will be the next one, l might have done this at Goodwood last year.........
I wedged the passenger door frame open enough to use a coat hanger to pull the handle. Once open, the alarm went off and the other doors remained locked so I had to climb into the load space to retrieve the keys. The job would have been much easier at home with a workshop full of tools instead of a campsite.
