Mb Keys

Nearly had heart attack and at 27 thats quiet bad, anyone been in to get a new or spare key from MB. They are charging over £140 for a 3 button flip 2001 key.
Im sure i paid around £80 for single button flip key for 202 about 1-2 yrs ago but £140 for the 3 button is disgusting, i really dont know how they price them, i think they pick figures out from the air...... the key its self would probably cost no more that £20-£30 with the remote and the key how can they justify a 6x mark up.....

Beats me, but only place you can get the ****** things is the MB stealers

The thing is malcolm i only have one key and need both the remote and key to keep as a spare, couldnt believe my ears when i heard the over inflated prices...

You should ask the price of the credit card key and remote that also came with these cars from new, very useful.

Its really amazing when you put that into perspective because these days you can buy a 4gb Ipod Nano for the same price as a mercedes benz key......go figure!!!
