MB Maintenance Service Contracts

Hello Folks,

I have just read, in my MB welcome pack, about MB service maintenance contracts, basic and plus, i was wondering if anyone had any experience or info on these products, cost, reliability, small print etc, details contained in the welcome pack and MB website are sketchy at best?

I tried to get an idea of the costs when I bought my car two years ago. The contract ended up being expensive. However, personally unless the car is brand new I would not bother with MB, a local indie will do the job for half the cost. Just my opinion mind you
