Afternoon All,

I ahve been a member of this forum for some years now, and it only dawned on me today about **** membership.

Is anyone/ nobody here a member? And as a user of the forum, do you think that there is a moral requirement to join?

Thoughts welcome

I am a member but if you can access the site without being a member, it suggests that the site is keen to have your attention, if not your contribution, in any case. Perhaps in the hope that you will join?

Likewise, member since '06 (with a short lapse due to movement).

You used to get a nice glossy magazine, but you now have the choice of getting the paper copy or the online copy(no idea how to get the online copy, very cryptic these computer thingymibobs)!!

Your reputation preceeds you...

Any idea why the forum thinks that the name(initials) is a rude word?

Maybe they think it precedes 'seed';);)

IMHO it is worth it for the discounts at the dealers on parts & services. I had a larger discount of my first service than the cost of the membership :)

it's also worth it

when you mention your membership at the dealers. I noticed a difference for the better in the way i was treated by some staff. ( most were very nice to start with though).
Griping was taken a bit more seriously i thought, and with quicker results than before. Not that i gripe much anyway.....

I just took a guess

I suspect that might have been true on the day you only worked from 9 o'clock until 10 o'clock.

That was however 9 a.m. until 10 p.m., so it wasn't really 1 hour at all Malcolm. Easy mistake to make though ...........
