MB Remote Package

Hi Guy's, I hope you are all well. Has anyone got any idea why I keep getting a random "Vehicle remote control deactivated" when trying to use my remote package on my Mercedes Me app meaning I can't instigate a task/function from my phone as I should be able too? I've logged out/in of the app, rebooted my phone and it still says the same. Then, randomly it is all back online and working as it should, seems to be no pattern to it at all. Its happened several times now. Thanks in advance for your help.

It may not be your phone but a bug with Mercedes’ me in the car, give the support line a call and see if there is an update needed, they can probably even do it over the air

Thank you, I've dropped them an email. Wait and see what they suggest.

I think I remember some others saying that email wasn’t much use, you can hit the help button in the car itself which takes you directly through to the me team

Yeah, no response via email. I've just called them, very helpful, apparently it's an issue with the license code for the car so the lock/unlock feature won't work. It's been referred to technical support for them to activate the correct vehicle code/license but I was advised to "be patient" as they have no idea how long it will take!?
If it takes too long do you think I'd be OK to ask them to extend the period I paid for as I've been without the service?

A quick update, I'm still waiting for a response from technical support so no further forward and still without the functionality. I'll chase them during the week.

I didn’t get your warning message but I had a problem with my remote access in November. From memory, it took them less than two weeks to sort it after I had spoken to the help desk.

I spoke with the help desk and had a confirmation email with a job number on 17th December, with the bank holidays etc I'll chase later on in the week. Thank you for letting me know the time line that you experienced with your issue.

Update; My remote package has now been sorted out remotely by MB technical and is fully functional.
Just to give some time expectations to other owners who need to use the help desk/technical, my experience was as follows.
Issue raised; 14th December
Chased MB; 5th January
Issue resolved; 7th January
