memory seats help please

Hi just bought a clk 2006 in plain english how do i set the memory seats for me and the mrs tried but must be doing something wrong any advice would be greatly appreciated

Get the seat to the position you want it then press the m button for 3/4 seconds then within a couple of seconds press the number you want ie 1 for you 2 for the good lady.

what about the mirrors does it do it all in one go thanks

It should also set the steering wheel position and if you leave the mirror selector switch set to the passenger side once you put the car in reverse the mirror will dip. You can set where it dips to so that you can see the rear passenger side wheel if you want to. I've always held the green memory button and position number button at the same time for 3-4 secs. It is detailed in the owners manual as well as how to set the dipping passenger side mirror.
