Merc 220 CDi Vito Ambient - 3rd cooling pipe off rad?

Hi Guys,

Quick question. Uncle of mine has an Ambient 220CDi (y-reg 2001) model without EGR valve. He's connected up the coolant radiator and as normal, 1 coolant pipe coming off the top and 1 off the bottom but he says he can see another pipe coming OFF the bottom pipe?

I was just wondering, would this be for say the turbo? - Maybe it's water cooled?

I'm not at office today so I can't check autodata or anything.

Its 100% not the turbo, more likely the coolant circulation pump or some thing like that.

Cheers mate, looks like we've got the wrong rad for the vito. He got the parts for it a year ago, only just started fitting it up today and the rads the wrong one.
