Hi,

I have noticed several people describing Mercedes by different names like 'w202' is this the same as BMW e30's, e36's etc etc...

if so does anybody have a list of them all?

find it easier just to remember the one for my own car. i'd get confused otherwise as nobody outside of the forums or industry uses the codes! e36, e46, 996, 993 etc all seem quite commonly used by people who are passionate about cars but don't necessarily own a BMW or Porsche, for some reason.
