I’ve a Merc Vito van and the electrics in the drivers door have stopped working - the windows and central locking on that door don’t work. I’ve checked the door module and switch’s, and the fuses are all fine - there seems to be no power going into the door. it stopped working about 4 weeks ago, but then decided to work last week for about 4 days and now has stopped working again!!! So I don’t know what it is! Any ideas? Thanks Tom

Have you physically checked the door module for receiving power or have you read the codes... if you've not read codes you really need to. Just one possibility is wires broken in the loom to the door at the hinge point.

An issue I had on on a Gr Cherokee was that the power feed cable had broken it's copper within the insulation. That was due to the continual open / close flexing of the wire.
It makes sense as the drivers door has most use.

Yes I had this issue on daughters 12yr old Audi. It was just too much faff to repair the loom in that tight area so ended up spending £160 on a new one.

The issue with the Gr Cherokee is that it was 7 strand copper rather than multi strand flex. Poor engineering in my view.
I pieced from within the door across the bellows to behind the panelling in the cab.
That was the negative, strangely the pos didn't break in the 10 years Mrs Me owned it.
