MERCEDES 190 - 1991

Looking for a little advice. My 190e automatic choke is sticking on, it was sorted out at last service but has started to stick again,,usually comes off after about 5 mins but this time it seems stuck on permanant this time.
Any ideas ?

Is it a 190 or a 190E? an "E" has fuel injection, so no choke.
