hello im having problem working my sun roof, the car has just been purchased by myself and stupidly did not check the sun roof, it makes the noice of the motor working and tries to pull back but gets stuck after about and inch or twonof movement what should i do steve

Spray all of the runners with PTFE with the roof open a bit, try and spray along the runners, then close and try a bit at a time.
do you have the key to open it manually

hello thanks for the reply i do not have a key for the sun roof can they be purchased? il try the spray and see what happens, i did ask mercedes and they said the cable may have snapped but if that was the case surely the sun roof would not open at all? as mine does
