Hey guys,
With the early 220's running the twin turbo they do indeed still run the Delphi ECU's, however the model that is in them runs the Delphi CRD variation not the DCM3.5 which has full lines of communication via the OBD port.
We have had many of these ECU's sent to us from across the globe and also from tuning companies who are dealers for other companies who wont offer support for this variation.
We have also had customers go to other companies saying that they are all OBD compatible and then when communication has not been achieved been told it has ATP (Anti tuning protection) which is completely not true!!! As no Delphi management runs the Infineon Tri-core chip, it is only possible to communicate via BDM (Background Debugging Module) which although looks very similar it is actually a completely different set of protocols as a READ / WRITE function.
