Mercedes 280CE W114 air hose query

Hello all. I have a Merc 280CE W114 M110 981 engine. Looks like I have a hose missing from the air filter intake hose and was wondering if someone could identify what it is please and where it goes? The pic below is from my engine bay with the red circled. I am lost so far on this.

From memory, it goes to a breather box just under the inlet, photo from goggle might help!
