Mercedes a class 2007
Hi, I've recently purchased a 2007 a class. The door handles from the outside won't open the doors. I've had a look and it looks like grub screws have been removed?
The handles can be pulled without engaging. Obviously this will result in an MOT failure. Has anyone had this issue, tips to fix without spending a fortune would be good!
Thanks.

It might just be loose screws inside the handle. Check a hardware store for replacements; they're usually cheap. You can find some DIY guides online, too.

Hi, thanks....I managed to get the door panel off etc...links like the spring has been removed from the mechanism weirdly?! Anyway a quick ebay visit and parts sorted, hopefully it's not too difficult to fit!
