Mercedes A Class A200 2019 Electrical Issue

I have a family member who has a 19 Plate A200 and has the following problems.

1) The Car Unlocks Randomly
2) The Boot Won’t open off key randomly
3) The Handbrake won’t release when you put it in reverse, you have to turn engine off and back on and then in reverse again for it to release. ( This happens Randomly )
4) The tyre pressure warning lights say there is a problem with the tyre pressures but the tyre pressures are fine
5) The alarm goes off randomly when you sit in the car with the electronic key ( its keyless entry )
6) the computer clock (time) on the dashboard keeps resetting to 12pm
7) the volume keys for the radio are unresponsive randomly
8) the distance breaking sensors are reported as being dirty ( the are not )

We have had a Mercedes technician look at the car and he has said its a faulty EIS Switch
( he was tugging at the carpet area in the front passenger footwell for some reason but without success )

A contracted mechanic; a representative of The RAC said the car is fine to drive and said that the faults were down to a faulty interior light ?

Does anyone have an idea what the root cause of the issue Could be ?

Has anyone had similar issues ?

The car is still under the manufacturers warranty, book it into your nearest MB Dealership and let them fix it!

Has the car been out of use long enough for the battery to have discharged itself?

No the car does plenty of mileage so the battery is fine

Are you just assuming the batteries are fine or have you tested them? what are the resting voltages reading and what are the voltages reading when your engine is running and charging?

Do you have access to a car diagnostics tool, have you had the fault codes read? if so what are they?

The Mercedes technician ran a diagnosis on the car with their own equipment ( Mercedes hardware / software ) and offered the explanation it was a faulty EIS Switch.

We are trying to verify this by requesting further information from Mercedes.

A dealership is unlikely to share any further information and without a suitable diagnostics instrument you are unlikely to discover much more than you already know. If you post your location, members could recommend Mercedes Independent specialists who would have the diagnostics kit and capability for a 3rd party opinion or go to the bottom of the page and click the radio button for a 'Mercedes Specialist Finder' and choose one for yourself!

The data you are referring to may or may not be of any use to you, it will consist of technical information on the current vehicles status and specific information on unexpected or out of parameter readings on specific modules, these need to be interpreted by operators who know what should be expected and what external forces may have affected the out-of-parameter readings, reading the fault codes and live data is a small part of a diagnostics process and without the experience and technical capabilities of an operator the data will be interesting reading but meaningless. It will not provide definitive advice, this will need to be interpreted.

Yes I agree, when we get the data, we will look then to consult with an expert with the findings and there may even be a file stored within the diagnoses machine that recorded the live data as it was produced at the time of the test.
