Mercedes A140 1.4 classic auto box problem

Hi all can anybody offer advice,when i put my car into drive the car starts off slowly, after accelerating the car changes to second gear and drives fine. I'm assuming that first gear is missed??

hmm ok, any idea when the last time you had the gearbox oil changed? I only ask as my wifes car did very similar to what your saying and changing the oil did help a bit,

Hi Matty the oil was changed 8week ago .Will
