MERCEDES-BENZ GLA AMG LINE 200 - Buying but need advice

Looking at the above motor, never owned a Merc before, had BMW previously.

This is the 2017 model and seems a great buy but looking for informed and knowledge experience of this motor

What are the pitfalls, what are the experiences of owning one, would really appreciate the advice as I think the car looks and drives great,

I actually thought it was a great, surprisingly practical vehicle. Managed to get me, wife and 3 kids with their small bikes at the time in, and all luggage for a static caravan holiday in the South of Scotland. I'm assuming it's the 200 petrol?

Hi there, yes, it is the 200 16 petrol, I've driven it twice and today have the dealer down to pretty much his limit on the sale... a buy today offer that expires at the end of the day.

Any further comments would be greatly appreciated, like running costs any issues identified in specific year mdels etc.

Hopefully someone with specific knowledge comes along- by all accounts I've read, reviews are decent, press doesn't rate it as highly as the X2 or Q2 but motoring press is fickle at best. Am I right in saying 2017 was a facelift year?

yes I've seen similar comments regarding the BM and Audi but in honesty I simply don't like them, the BM looks too elongated and the Audi just doesn't look exciting.

This thing looks great and I'd be happy with it but it's always wise to get some knowledgeable insight.

We have the GLA 250 which is a bit higher power although the 200 can easily be remapped to the same or more than the 250.

No problems for us, a bit limited in rear if tall people in front seats but normally only the 2 of us anyway.
