Mercedes-Benz issues recall over faulty windscreen wipers

Mercedes-Benz issues recall over faulty windscreen wipers for A B and C class it has something to do with faulty insulation on the switch, does anyone have any more info and does it only affect the German spec cars?

not sure if i german spec thing more like a german market thing,

the switches will all be the same no matter what car or the countyr its in (esp across europe)

mb have differeing views on recalls regarding the country, not the car.
